The San Antonio Missions of the Texas League ended the 2004 season with a record of 66 wins and 72 losses, finishing third in the league's West Division.

The Missions tallied 589 runs, worst in the circuit, and surrendered 684 runs. John Lindsey paced San Antonio with 19 home runs, and Shin-Soo Choo walloped 15 or more, too. Shin-Soo Choo drove in 84 runs and topped all regular batters with a .315 average. Juan Done led the squad with 10 wins, while Chris Buglovsky registered a 3.64 earned run average, leading qualifying pitchers.
