The San Antonio Missions of the Texas League ended the 2005 season with a record of 76 wins and 64 losses, finishing second in the league's West Division.

The Missions scored 630 runs and surrendered 614 runs. Jesse Hoorelbeke led San Antonio with 22 home runs, while Jon Nelson walloped 15 or more, too. Jesse Hoorelbeke accounted for 81 RBI. T. J. Bohn paced hitters with significant playing time with a .308 average. Thomas Oldham topped the squad with 13 wins, and Bobby Livingston registered a 2.87 earned run average, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
