The Vancouver Mounties of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1961 season with a record of 87 wins and 67 losses, finishing second in the PCL.

The Mounties plated 787 runs, tops in the circuit. Vancouver conceded 617 runs. Howie Goss paced the squad with 27 home runs, while Denis Menke and Manny Jiménez walloped 15 or more, too. Howie Goss drove in 100 runs. Frank Torre led all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .307 clip. Ron Piché topped the team with 14 wins and a team-best 2.26 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
