The Batavia Trojans of the New York-Pennsylvania League ended the 1974 season with a record of 20 wins and 49 losses, finishing sixth in the NYPL.

The Trojans tallied 299 runs and allowed 480 runs, most in the league. Oswaldo Olivares and Gene Felts each drove in 32 runs. Dale Lydecker led hitters with significant playing time by hitting .298, while Stephen Wojcik registered a 3.16 earned run average, leading regularly-used pitchers.

Ned Yost and Bob Myrick both played in Major League Baseball during their careers.
