Derek King netted 53 goals for the squad, while Lee Giffin, Barry Burkholder and Scott McCrory each tallied 30 or more also. Scott McCrory contributed 99 assists. Jeff Hackett topped the team with 18 wins and a team-best 3.05 goals against average, leading goaltenders with enough qualifying appearances.
Paul Theriault coached the team. The 1986-87 Oshawa Generals won the League Championship.
