Ramona Park
Location: Grand Rapids, MIOutside of town, West shore of Reeds Lake, at Lake Avenue (3B), between Michigan Avenue & Clinton Road.

Ramona Athletic Park hosted one of the earliest night game in organized ball. Inventor George F. Cahill set up his portable lights for a night game in the Central Association game between Grand Rapids and Zanesville on July 7, 1909. According to a 1908 photo, Ramona Park had a grass infield and a dirt outfield. The catcher faced SW. Ramona was a Sunday location at first, but became an everyday park in 1920.
