Simmons Park
Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC11th & Jefferson Streets.
Capacity: 2,300 (1947); 3,000 (1950)
The catcher faced south. The grandstand included a small press box. A small bleacher section was located down the LF line; a larger bleacher section flanked the grandstand along the 1B line. The park was enclosed with a 7-foot board fence. The park was torn down, and a housing development occupies the site.
