Rogers Hornsby compiled a record of 701 wins and 812 losses in his managing career with the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, Boston Braves, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Browns and Cincinnati Reds. He began managing during the 1925 season and last managed during the 1953 campaign. Hornsby was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1942.
