The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League ended the 1987 season with a record of 12 wins and 6 losses for 24 points, finishing first in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 0-1.

BC scored 502 points, while the defense allowed 370. Roy Dewalt triggered the aerial attack, slinging for 3,855 yards. Jim Sandusky topped pass catchers, grabbing 80 passes for 1,437 yards. John Pankratz was targeted regularly, too.

Anthony Parker carried the ball for a team-leading 635 yards for the Lions, and Ray Crouse also contributed to the rushing attack.

Keith Gooch picked off 9 opponent throws. Gregg Stumon led the defensive unit with 23 quarterback sacks, leading the way for a team which created 80 sacks.

Larry Donovan and Don Matthews coached the team. The 1987 BC Lions lost in the Division Final.
