The San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League ended the 2004 season with a record of 11 wins and 5 losses, finishing second in the Arena League's West Division of the American Conference. The team compiled a postseason mark of 3-0.

Barry Wagner carried the ball for a team-best 85 yards for San Jose, while Keala Keanaaina and Matt Kinsinger also contributed to the rushing attack.
