The defense proved to be a force, as the Colts led the league with just 144 points allowed. Baltimore piled up points with 402 points. Earl Morrall threw for 2,909 yards. John Mackey topped all receivers, hauling in 45 balls, while Jimmy Orr added 743 receiving yards. Willie Richardson was targeted regularly also.
Tom Matte ran for a team-leading 662 yards.
Bobby Boyd picked off 8 opponent throws.
Don Shula coached the team. The 1968 Baltimore Colts won the Championship.
