BC scored 441 points, while the defensive squad allowed 410. Roy Dewalt directed the offense, slinging for 4,057 yards. Jim Sandusky topped pass catchers, grabbing 60 passes, while Mervyn Fernandez added 865 receiving yards. John Pankratz, Ned Armour and Jan Carinci each were targeted regularly, too.

Keyvan Jenkins carried the ball for a team-leading 496 yards for the Lions, and John White also contributed to the rushing attack.

The larcenous defense pounced on 78 turnovers, topping in the league. Larry Crawford intercepted 9 opponent throws. James Parker led the defensive unit with 22 quarterback sacks, helping propel the defense to an overall total of 78 sacks.
