Terry Sawchuk led the team with 17 wins, while Johnny Bower recorded a 2.38 goals against average, pacing regularly-used goaltenders.

Punch Imlach coached the team. The 1964-65 Toronto Maple Leafs lost in the NHL semi-finals.
