Frank Mahovlich and Ron Ellis netted 23 goals for the squad each, and Andy Bathgate and Dave Keon each recorded 29 assists. Terry Sawchuk led the team with 17 wins, while Johnny Bower recorded a 2.38 goals against average, pacing regularly-used goaltenders.

Punch Imlach coached the team. The 1964-65 Toronto Maple Leafs lost in the NHL semi-finals.
