The Altoona Curve of the Eastern League ended the 2004 season with a record of 85 wins and 56 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Curve plated 697 runs and surrendered 644 runs. Ray Sadler paced Altoona with 20 home runs, while Ronny Paulino, Josh Bonifay, Brad Eldred and Yurendell de Caster each walloped 15 or more also. Josh Bonifay drove in 76 runs. Nate McLouth led hitters with significant playing time with a .322 average. Bryan Bullington topped the squad with 12 wins, and Ian Snell earned a 3.16 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
