The Altoona Curve of the Eastern League ended the 2005 season with a record of 76 wins and 66 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The Curve scored 671 runs and allowed 652 runs. Josh Bonifay led Altoona with 25 home runs, while José Bautista, Tom Evans and Craig Stansberry each walloped 15 or more also. José Bautista accounted for 90 RBI and topped batters with significant playing time with a .283 average. Matt Peterson paced the squad with 11 wins, and Tom Gorzelanny registered a 3.27 earned run average, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
