The Asheville Tourists of the South Atlantic League ended the 1960 season with a record of 62 wins and 77 losses, finishing sixth in the SAL.
The Tourists plated 616 runs and allowed 692 runs. Fred Van Dusen paced Asheville with 20 home runs, while Barton Dupon walloped 15 or more, too. Fred Van Dusen accounted for 56 RBI. Mack Burk topped hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .281 clip. Jack Taylor led the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 3.67 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
