The Tourists led the league with 670 runs, powered by 140 home runs. Asheville allowed 610 runs. Bob Robertson walloped 32 home runs for the squad, while Bob Oliver, Rodolfo Welch and Joe Solimine each swatted 15 or more, too. Bob Robertson drove in 99 runs. Charlie Leonard paced all regular batters by connecting at a .308 clip. Dave Roberts and Silvano Quezada topped the team with 14 wins each, and Dave Roberts recorded a 2.61 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
