The Asheville Tourists of the Carolina League ended the 1967 season with a record of 64 wins and 74 losses, finishing sixth in the league's West Division.

The Tourists scored 571 runs and surrendered 594 runs. Hal King walloped 30 home runs for Asheville, while Keith Graffagnini and Danny Walton swatted 15 or more also. Keith Graffagnini and Hal King each drove in 87 runs. Danny Walton led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .302 clip. Mike Daniel topped the team with 15 wins and a team-best 2.62 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Members of the 1967 Asheville Tourists who played in Major League Baseball during their careers were Roric Harrison, Greg Sims, Danny Coombs, Chuck Churn, Wayne Twitchell, John Paciorek, Bob Watkins, Danny Walton, Jack Lind, Tom Griffin, Celerino Sánchez and Hal King.
