The Tourists scored 571 runs and surrendered 594 runs. Hal King walloped 30 home runs for Asheville, while Danny Walton and Keith Graffagnini swatted 15 or more also. Keith Graffagnini and Hal King each drove in 87 runs. Danny Walton led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .302 clip. Mike Daniel topped the team with 15 wins and a team-best 2.62 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
