The Chattanooga Lookouts of the Southern League ended the 1964 season with a record of 65 wins and 74 losses, finishing seventh in the SL.

The Lookouts plated 587 runs and allowed 652 runs. Larry Daniels paced Chattanooga with 16 home runs Hank Allen drove in 70 runs. Mike Marshall led all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .275 average. Marcel Guilbault topped the squad with 12 wins, while Fergie Jenkins registered a 3.11 earned run average, leading regularly-used pitchers.
