The Rainbows plated 587 runs and allowed 592 runs. Bill Stevenson paced Charleston with 11 home runs Chris Knabenshue and Jim Tatum each drove in 62 runs. Carlos Baerga led hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .270 clip. Greg Harris topped the squad with 13 wins and a team-best 2.64 ERA, leading regular hurlers.

Carlos Baerga, Greg Harris, Jim Lewis, Matt Maysey, Rodney McCray, Eric Nolte, Jim Tatum and Rafael Valdez were all players from the 1986 Charleston Rainbows who played in the Majors during their careers.
