The Cats paced the league with just 565 runs allowed. Fort Worth scored 643 runs, worst in the league,. Joe Macko led the team with 24 home runs, while Gabe Gabler and Jerry Kindall walloped 15 or more as well. Gabe Gabler drove in 94 runs. Chick King topped all regular batters by hitting .338. Marcelino Solis paced the squad with 15 wins and a team-best 2.44 earned run average, best among regular hurlers.
