The Hillcats plated 668 runs and conceded 787 runs, most in the league. Jared Keel paced Lynchburg with 20 home runs, while Jamie Romak walloped 15 or more, too. Jared Keel drove in 81 runs. Jim Negrych led all regular batters by connecting at a .370 clip. Michael Crotta topped the team with 9 wins, and Tony Watson recorded a 3.57 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Brad Lincoln, Dustin Molleken, Tony Watson, Jamie Romak, Jared Hughes, Alex Presley, Michael Crotta, Daniel Moskos and Steven Lerud were all players from the 2008 Lynchburg Hillcats who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
