The Las Vegas Stars of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1983 season with a record of 83 wins and 60 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The Stars scored 911 runs and surrendered 894 runs. Kevin McReynolds walloped 32 home runs for Las Vegas, while Bobby Brown, Gerry Davis, George Hinshaw and Joe Lansford each swatted 15 or more also. Joe Lansford and Kevin McReynolds each drove in 116 runs. Kevin McReynolds paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .377. Steve Fireovid topped the team with 14 wins, and Felix Oroz recorded a 4.36 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
