The North Shore Spirit of the Northeast League ended the 2004 season with a record of 57 wins and 35 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

The Spirit topped the league with 523 runs. North Shore surrendered 423 runs. Travis Oglesby led the team with 18 home runs Joseph Hastings accounted for 66 RBI. Vic Davilla paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .330 clip. Bryan Morse and Jeremy Sugarman paced the squad with 10 wins each, while Bryan Morse recorded a 2.5 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Frank Charles played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the North Shore Spirit to do so.

John Kennedy served as manager.
