Fraser Field, named for Lynn baseball supporter Gene Fraser, was located next to the Manning Bowl football stadium. It was a WPA project that opened, June 21, 1938. Fraser Field was the first stadium in the country with a cantilevered roof, allowing every spectator an unobstructed view. Remodeled in 2003 with artificial turf infield, natural grass outfield.
