The North Shore Spirit of the Canadian-American Association ended the 2005 season with a record of 55 wins and 36 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

The Spirit plated 527 runs and conceded 417 runs. Vic Davilla paced North Shore with 23 home runs, while Rob Fischer and Travis Oglesby walloped 15 or more, too. Vic Davilla drove in 86 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .333 clip. Bryan Morse and John Kelly led the squad with 12 wins each, and Bryan Morse recorded a 3.17 ERA, leading regularly-used pitchers.
