The Portland Beavers of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1944 season with a record of 87 wins and 82 losses, finishing second in the PCL.

The Beavers scored 645 runs and allowed 662 runs. Marv Owen recorded 63 runs batted in. Frank Shone led all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .275. Marino Pieretti earned 26 wins on the mound for the team, while Ad Liska and Roy Helser, too added 15 or more wins, too Roy Helser recorded a 2.41 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
