The Richmond Flying Squirrels of the Eastern League ended the 2014 season with a record of 79 wins and 63 losses, finishing first in the league's Western Division.

The Flying Squirrels plated 586 runs and yielded 546 runs. Mario Lisson paced Richmond with 18 home runs and drove in 76 runs. Kelby Tomlinson topped batters with significant playing time by hitting .268. Edwin Quirarte and Jack Snodgrass led the squad with 11 wins each, while Ty Blach earned a 3.13 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Ty Blach, Andrew Carignan, Kyle Crick, Matt Duffy, Tyler Graham, Cody Hall, Derek Law, Ryan Lollis, Kelvin Marte, Adalberto Mejía, Steven Okert, Josh Osich, Jarrett Parker, Dan Slania, Chris Stratton, Hunter Strickland and Kelby Tomlinson were all players from the 2014 Richmond Flying Squirrels who played in the Majors during their careers.
