Branko Segota scored 34 goals for San Diego, while Waad Hirmez, Jean Willrich, Hugo Perez, Fernando Clavijo and Juli Veee each netted fifteen or more, too. Branko Segota contributed 41 assists. Zoltan Toth topped the squad with 17 wins. Jim Gorsek recorded a 2.44 goals against average, pacing qualifying goalkeepers.

Ron Newman coached the team. The 1986-87 San Diego Sockers lost in the Division Final.
